The main purpose of this paper is to conclude that the panelists engaged in a heuristic dialogue in the form of a dialectical negotiation. Is ethics an objective activity of moral reason that delivers universal answers to moral questions? Or is ethics the ability to understand the reasons for one's own immoral motives, and the ability to change it?
