The app is a pretty good tool for anything related to immersion. Try it to see. The company also offers a blog, Influent Blog , where you can find out more about how the company works. The company also offers an app for iOS and Android devices.
With the English pack, the whole interface is oriented around the vocabulary. The tabs on the top of the screen tell you what you have and what you need, along with a big screen showing the vocabulary you have and the vocabulary you need. You can also see what words you've learned and how much you know in relation to the other words in the pack.
Also, I'm not sure why I have the English pack in a row at the bottom of the list, since I am not fluent in that language. It should probably be at the bottom of the list when I'm looking for a language pack.
For an interface that's basically a vocabulary dictionary, Influent is pretty well done. The only thing I didn't like was how the whole thing is organized. You can't really scroll all the way across the screen to see all the words. I'd have a hard time figuring out what the big vocabulary on the far right is for.

I'm going to start using Fluent again to help me learn the Spanish I need for graduate school this fall.
Along with the increasing demand for Spanish on the job market, and the growing number of foreign speakers inhabiting the Spanish-speaking world, I think it's important to learn the language.
Whether I use Fluent for that or for blog posts is up to me, but I am going to keep using it.
