The Halfling's Gem: The Legend Of Drizzt, Book VI Mobi |LINK| Download Book
Book VI of the mysteries of Drizzt Do'Urden's birthmate, Dro'Zaic. Drizzt and his friends, with a band of Aasimar mercenaries, head&nxr;s to the ruins of the city of Valspar, which is currently being re-built by the Aasimar. Drizzt has always had difficulty keeping his identity a secret and somebody really wants to know what the secrets of his origins are. Within the decayed ruins of Valspar, players will encounter the drow, Rezan, and some of the creatures native to the Forgotten Realms. This book comes close to earning the status of masterwork. It is chock-full of character development, action, adventure, and unique storytelling. Players who haven’t read the other books in the series may have a difficult time getting into this one, but those who’ve read the other volumes will finish off the series on a high note.
Wizards of the Coast released this book in late 2011 as an eBook as part of the Forgotten Realms Anthology. This title is part of the “Night Horrors” series and must be read in order with the other three titles. This book takes place two years after the events of Book V and characters from the book return as part of the story. Drizzt is taken aldoemen by his sister’s husband, are you ready for the fire? There are a few plot-holes, but the novel has many things going for it. I thought this book was an excellent addition to the series, having always had a much greater appreciation for the primary characters now that I’ve read Book V. While I felt Book V was a necessary addition to the series, Book VI was a pleasant surprise. The author of this book, Rocky J. Fields, has certainly earned a place in my future recommendations.
The Halfling's Gem: The Legend of Drizzt, Book VI details Drizzt's adventures in and around the Emerald Enclave as he continues with his quest to kill the antagonist, Jhabri's 'half-demon' Ventleys.
